What Changes With BRE-LAK Powder
Oil slicks spreading across water surfaces
Contained. Absorbed. Gone.
BRE-LAK Powder immediately begins absorbing and binding floating oils, enabling rapid marine and river oil spill absorption and removal.
Houses lost to fire
Fire-resistant lightweight structures.
A 4 cm application withstands 900°C direct gas torch exposure without burning. Multi-storey lightweight buildings made from BRE-LAK concrete are inherently fireproof, thermally and acoustically insulated, vapour-permeable and thermal-bridge-free — a lasting solution where houses burn down.
Wildfires that outrun every defense
A barrier that can be deployed.
BRE-LAK Powder's extreme fire resistance and rapid solidification make it a viable rapidly deployable thermal barrier — protecting communities, forests, and infrastructure from advancing wildfire fronts.
Performance by the Numbers
BRE-LAK Powder prevents structural steel beams from softening and losing load-bearing capacity even under direct 900°C gas flame at just 3.5–4 cm thickness. It will become an essential component of high-rise buildings. In a validated burn test, a 3.5 cm sample was exposed to a direct 900°C flame for 2 minutes: the internal temperature did not rise, while the external surface reached 900°C. Material made with BRE-LAK Powder resists UV radiation, winter frost and summer surface temperatures of 55–60°C — growing harder and stronger over the years. This is the fundamental Passive Fire Protection (PFP) Application for high-rise and industrial construction.
BRE-LAK powder actively expels the material's water content, causing it to solidify rapidly. Safe demolding within 36–40 hours — completely bypassing the traditional 28-day concrete curing cycle.
No sand is required to produce BRE-LAK material. Zero sand in the structural matrix. Eliminates reliance on river sand. Supports the Arab world's construction ambitions, where sand is abundant but not suitable for industrial building use.
When sprinkled onto spilled oil, the powder begins to absorb and encapsulate it. It binds floating oil. It is extremely effective for remediating oil spills at sea and in rivers.
By omitting polystyrene from the base material and adding sand instead, waterproof concrete can be produced with BRE-LAK powder. Waterproof concrete is suitable for foundations, underground garage construction, and solving the problems of water-flooded buildings — specifically by displacing water.
